(KNSI) – A fast moving brush fire in Meeker County was likely the cause of a blaze that destroyed a shed Saturday afternoon.
According to a press release, around 3:40, crews were called to a structure fire in Greenleaf Township just south of Litchfield. Six departments responded and found the shed, which contained hay bales, fully engulfed in flames. The Cosmos, Dassel, Grove City, Hutchinson and Lake Lillian fire departments worked nearly six hours to get the flames out.
The shed and its contents, owned by Kaping Farms, are a total loss. No injuries were reported.
