(KNSI) – It’s official. St. Cloud set a record high Friday.
The old record of 71, set in 2012, was eclipsed by one degree. Monday’s weather was also one for the history books, shattering the old record of 61 by eight degrees.
Now, Mother Nature is saying “hold my juice box” as a powerful spring storm system heads this way. The cold front may trigger thunderstorms later and high temps are forecast to be cut in half, with some snow possible in the area Saturday.
We are under a wind advisory from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday. A winter storm watch is out for counties along the border and blizzard warnings are posted as close as Pope County.
