(KNSI) – The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in effect until 9:00 Monday morning.

Forecasters say snow accumulation of between 2 and 4 inches is expected, with localized heavier snowfall around 6 in so drivers should plan on a messy Monday morning commute.

A narrow band of snow will fall throughout mid-morning, the heaviest of which will fall between midnight and 6:00 a.m. Monday. Snowfall amounts will drop off sharply to the North and South of the band.

After the snow ends on Monday, we have a chance for snow again on Tuesday and Wednesday.
