Gunpoint Robbery at St. Cloud Convenience Store; Suspect Flees with Cash

(KNSI) – A convenience store was robbed at gunpoint in St. Cloud on Saturday night.

Police were called just after 8:00 to the 9th Avenue Xpress in the 400 block of 9th Avenue North. The store clerk told police a man walked into the store, pulled out a handgun, and demanded cash. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The employee was not hurt. Police say this is an active investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call the St. Cloud Police Department at 320-251-1200, Tri-County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-255-1301, or leave a tip on their website. All tips are anonymous.
