(KNSI) – The Central Minnesota Bloody Mary Fest has moved from the fall to this weekend and is in a new location.

The annual event is on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Regency Venue in downtown St. Cloud. It had previously been held in the fall at the Municipal Athletic Complex. Candyce Gregory, the festival’s owner, described what ticket holders can expect, “It is an unlimited sampling event, so you essentially get to make your way around the room and sample a variety of different bloody mary mixes, beer, seltzers, and a few new products that you probably never tried before.”

Some light hors d’oeuvres will be served. There are around 20 different bloody mary mixes to taste, Gregory believes that part of the fun is voting for your favorite one. “So, you’ll get a token when you enter into the event, and you’ll go around and sample all of your bloody mary vendors. And once you decide which one is your favorite, you’re going to drop your token in their bucket.”

At the end of the event, the top token-getter will receive a plaque, trophy, and bragging rights.
