(KNSI) – Cannonball into the icy waters of Middle Spunk Lake in Avon for a good cause.
The Stearns County Polar Plunge for Special Olympics is coming up on Feburary 15th at Avon Beach. Teams can register now and help the sheriff’s office reach its goal of raising $70,000 this year. Around 90 people have already signed up for the 2025 plunge.
In 2024, 280 Plungers raised $68,790. The Stearns County Plunge has raised over $1,264,597 in its 17-year history.
