(KNSI) — The Minnesota Department of Transportation is warning the public about scam emails from someone posing as MnDOT.
The agency has a website, 511mn.org for real time traffic and driving conditions, but a warning popped up on the site Monday morning about the emails. The warning says for anyone who gets an email they are not expecting from Minnesota511A@511mn.us it is fake and should not be opened.
Instead officials say to delete the email and don’t click on any links.
