(KNSI) – A central Minnesota bakery is getting national recognition after being named to the New York Times list of 22 best bakeries in the county.
According to Tuesday’s release, Flour & Flower Bakery in St. Joseph made it into the oven of excellence. Husband-and-wife Erin Lucas and Mateo Mackabee own the shop. According to The Times, the baked goods “give locals good reason to wake up early.”
Diane’s Place in northeast Minneapolis also made the list.
California, Texas and New York are the only other states with multiple entries on the list.
