(KNSI) – A burglary suspect is in custody after being found inside a downtown St. Cloud pawn shop Friday morning.
Officers were sent to the 600 block of West St. Germain Street. The owner of Security Coin and Pawn walked in just before 9:00 to set up the store for the day. He found it in disarray and could hear someone in the back.
Several squad cars responded, including a K-9 officer. They posted watch at every potential exit and began to search inside. They were able to locate a 57-year-old St. Cloud man who was arrested. He is now at the Stearns County Jail.
The investigation is still ongoing.
