Operation Merry Meals: Minnesota National Guard Delivers Holiday Meals to Veterans in Need

(KNSI) – The Minnesota National Guard will be serving up a holiday meal for veterans in need.

National Guard staff, volunteers and Beyond the Yellow Ribbon partners are teaming up for Operation Merry Meals, which will provide holiday food for Minnesota veterans, service members, and military families who need a hand up this holiday season.

This year, the annual effort involves gathering and packing an estimated 300 meal kits along with around 600 packs of assorted meats. On Thursday, the meals will be delivered to armories and air wings across the state. From there, the food will be given to those who registered.
