(KNSI) – Take that twisted bundle of broken and unwanted Christmas lights and turn it into food for families in need.
The second annual Holiday Lights For Hunger campaign is underway with collection boxes set up locally at Fleet Farm and Menards. To help, drop off those unneeded lights and cords in the big blue boxes. The materials are then recycled, and the funds are donated to Minnesota food banks.
In all, there are more than 50 drop-off locations throughout Minnesota and North Dakota.
