(KNSI) — A 79-year-old man has been sentenced after admitting to exposing himself at Heritage Park in St. Cloud.
According to the criminal complaint, on April 14th, three boys witnessed a naked man lying in a wooded area, and he was touching himself. Two of them went and found other parkgoers who said they thought the kids were playing a prank, but upon further investigation, they, too, saw what was going on.
A man yelled at James Leroy Tembrock to get dressed because kids were around. Tembrock responded that he “wasn’t doing anything wrong.” Video evidence obtained by investigators shows him sitting on the ground with only a sweatshirt sleeve covering his groin area. Tembrock was later convicted of indecent exposure.
He was given credit for three days in jail with 361 days stayed for two years, meaning he won’t serve any more time behind bars unless he violates the terms of his two-year probation. Tembrock is banned from going to Heritage Park, must undergo a psychosexual evaluation, follow its recommendations, and pay a $900 fine.
