(KNSI) – The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of two people in Rockford on Friday.
The sheriff’s office says deputies arrived at a home in the 4000 block of Woodhill Court around 8:30 p.m. Neighbors had reported an unattended vehicle in the driveway, which had been running for over an hour. Inside the residence, deputies say they found an adult man and an adult woman, both dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
The sheriff’s office says is not looking for any other suspects, as the two individuals knew each other. Though the investigation is ongoing, the sheriff’s office says it’s believed that the man shot the woman and then shot himself.
The names of the deceased have not been released.
