(KNSI) – A St. Cloud area food shelf is thanking local kids for taking time on Halloween to participate in the We Scare Hunger food drive.
Instead of trick-or-treating, National Honor Society students and the WE ACT Club, a group committed to environmental justice, went door to door collecting donations for Catholic Charities Emergency Food Shelf.
The crew dropped off an impressive 871 pounds of aid to the food shelf. According to CC, the donation will significantly benefit the organization and the record number of people using their services.
