(KNSI) — Tonight, Stearns County deputies are swapping their ticket books for serving trays to help out Special Olympics Minnesota.
From 4:00 to 7:00, diners can head to Texas Roadhouse in Waite Park. Local deputies and officers from other partner agencies will be clearing tables and bringing people drinks and food. Any tips they receive will go to the cause.
Last year, more than $3,400 was raised for athletes to train and compete in 16 state level sports.
