(KNSI) – Work on a St. Cloud bridge will cause delays for drivers for the next few weeks.
According to a press release from the city, the University Bridge will begin lane shifts next Thursday. At times, traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions. Although the road will remain open, officials say the shifts have the potential to cause major backups and people are advised to find an alternate route. The sidewalks and bike lanes will also be closed.
The work is expected to finish in mid-December, weather permitting.
