(KNSI) — Our warm fall may end this week, but not before potentially setting more records.

The National Weather Service says the area will see “much above normal temps” to start the week, with record max temps possible today and tomorrow. The record for October 28th is 74. The predicted high is 73, but if the sun peeks out, we may touch 74. The October 29th record is 73, with the forecasted high of 72.

A wet pattern sets in on Tuesday afternoon, with a chance for some rain before rain becomes more likely on Wednesday. A rumble of thunder or two is also not out of the question, and temps won’t get out of the 50s. Showers should dissipate and move out by Thursday afternoon, leaving it dry for trick-or-treat time on Thursday evening.

November starts with sunshine and low 50s, which is closer to average.
