Candy Crawl: Central Minnesota’s Trunk-or-Treat Guide

(KNSI) — Little witches, warlocks and werewolves will have plenty of chances to stuff their candy bags thanks to a bevy of trunk-or-treat events across central Minnesota.

Candy collecting starts a few days before Halloween.

The third annual St. Joseph Sentry Bank Trunk or Treat Party is on Friday, October 25th, at 6:00 p.m.

On Saturday, October 26th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Clearwater Fire Department is teaming up with Coborn’s for a festive time at the fire department parking lot. The day features candy, games, and family fun. Also in Clearwater, Holy Cross Lutheran Church is holding an event on Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

On October 26th, the Bikers Against Child Abuse Granite City Chapter hosts a trunk or treat from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Vikingland Harley Davidson in Sauk Rapids. John Clark Elementary in Rockville is the site of a trunk or treat from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. North Crest Kids Activity Center in Sauk Rapids will host its annual event from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sterling Park Assisted Living in Waite Park is holding a spooktacular evening of trunk or treating from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Shepard of the Pines in Rice will also hold its trunk or treat from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

On Sunday, October 27th, The St. Joseph Meat Market will offer up treats from their cars between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The St. Cloud VFW will be set up in the parking lot for kids in costumes from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Great Blue Heron in Cold Spring will host a trunk or treat from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Abounding Joy Lutheran Church will host a family-friendly trick or treat in the parking lot and building from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Foley Grace Luthern Church will be shoveling out treats from 6:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Their event has hayrides, a chili feed and hot apple cider.

On Wednesday, October 30th, Gilleland Chevrolet and Miller Auto will host a drive-thru style trunk or treat from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Atonement Lutheran Church in St. Cloud will host its trunk or treat from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Structural Buildings in Becker will hand out candy between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.

Finally, on Halloween night, Tenvoorde Ford in St. Cloud is holding a trunk or treat with a dance party, games, treats, and prizes between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Sacred Heart Parish’s parking lot in Sauk Rapids will hold an event from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., and Petra Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids will fill bags with treats from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot.
