(KNSI) – The St. Cloud VA Medical Center is participating in Medication Take Back Day next Saturday.
On the 26th, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the public is welcome to drop off unused or expired prescription drugs at a drop box located just inside the main entrance to Building 1.
The St. Cloud VA campus is located at 4801 Veterans Drive between Apollo High School and the Municipal Athletic Complex. The clinics in Brainerd, Alexandria, and Montevideo are not participating.
The VA event is part of National Drug Take Back Day, organized by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration twice a year. If you need to dispose of pills more often, many local police departments and sheriff’s offices in central Minnesota have drop boxes available year-round.
