(KNSI) – Two events held by a Clearwater business raised over $32,500 to help fight breast cancer.
The team at Clearwater Travel Plaza raised the funds through their recent Walk for Hope and Golf for Hope fundraising events. The proceeds went to CentraCare-St. Cloud Hospital Breast Center.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, in 2024, more than 360,000 people will be diagnosed with the disease.
