(KNSI) – A city-owned parking lot in downtown St. Cloud is up for sale and ready for redevelopment.
The St. Cloud Planning Commission voted to put the Riverboat Parking Lot on the market. City officials say they have an interested buyer and have been fielding inquiries about the space for weeks. The land is located on 1st Street South and 5th Avenue South, next to the former House of Pizza in downtown St. Cloud.
The property has been used as public off-street parking for more than 30 years. City planners feel the site is well suited for a mixed-use project.
