(KNSI) – Improper use of heating equipment is being blamed for a fire that started in a St. Cloud apartment Thursday afternoon.
According to a critical incident report from the fire department, just after 1:30 they received a call for a building fire on the 500 block of 8th Avenue North. They arrived to find a fire burning in a unit on the second floor. Everyone was successfully evacuated and no one was hurt.
The blaze was contained to one apartment.
