(KNSI) — Prosecutors in Wright County have charged a 24-year-old man in connection to a stabbing Tuesday night.
According to the criminal complaint, just before 9:15, police were called to a home in Cokato Township for a report of an assault. They arrived to find the 67-year-old victim had been stabbed in the neck. He told investigators Julian Hill, who lives in the house with him, came out of a bedroom and began stabbing him before fleeing the scene. Officers found Hill a short distance away and took him into custody.
The man was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Hill has been charged with two counts of second degree assault.
