(KNSI) – The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says a 14-year-old girl reported missing earlier this week has been found safe.
Sophya Cherne was last seen leaving her house in Morrill Township off Partridge Road between 11:00 p.m. Saturday night and 12:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Authorities say she was located Wednesday evening.
The sheriff’s office thanked the public and the agencies that helped look for her. Her mother added to that statement saying the family’s prayers were answered.
More information will be released in the near future, according to a social media post from the sheriff’s office.
