(KNSI) – Although Halloween hasn’t arrived yet, the St. Cloud Area Salvation Army is already planning for the other holiday season.

The local charity is taking applications for red kettle bell ringers in St. Cloud, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, St. Joseph and Waite Park. Those wanting to help jingle change into the famous buckets can get an application at the Salvation Army office at 400 Highway 10 South in St. Cloud. You must have a valid driver’s license and a Social Security card or birth certificate to apply. Ringers will be paid the minimum wage of $10.85 an hour. Bell ringers will be hired to work from November 8th to December 24th.

The Salvation Army is looking for both full-time and part-time help. If hired, applicants will receive a letter inviting them to an orientation the first week of November. According to the nonprofit, buckets manned by ringers bring in significantly more money than those without one.
