St. Cloud SWAT Team, Numerous Police Officers Respond to Home in West St. Cloud

(KNSI) – Numerous police officers from at least three agencies and the local SWAT Team responded to a home in west St. Cloud Wednesday afternoon following a report of a gunshot fired inside.

Everyone in the home on Casselberry Road was able to escape, with the exception of the lone suspect. Neighbors told KNSI News nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution. Negotiators tried to talk to the suspect to get them to come outside.

As of 5:47, St. Cloud police say “the adult male suspect has been located inside the house and the scene is now secure.” Officers will remain on scene to conduct an investigation.
