New Website and Graphic Design Business Opens In St. Cloud

(KNSI) – A new east St. Cloud company is carrying on a family tradition.

DesignAvo Owner Jay Karnik tells KNSI News that his mother and godfather were both small business owners. He is now using that experience to venture out on his own. Karnik outlines the different services DesignAvo provides.

“Website design, graphic design, such as logos, business cards, flyers, [and] brochures. And our photography area, we do events on-site like family photos.”

For corporate clients, DesignAvo will host a directory on its website to help promote them. Karnik expects that early on, he will work with many nonprofits located on the city’s east side in the neighboring blocks. DesignAvo’s office is in the Eastgate Center on Wilson Avenue near East St. Germain.

Karnik hopes to be a part of the area’s revitalization. He chose it specifically when deciding where to open his company. “I used to live on the east side, and so, you know, it was actually intentional because I want to really boost up the east side of downtown St. Cloud.”

DesignAvo has an active website and is open for business. Karnik is currently planning a pair of grand openings for later this month. One will be a networking event, and the other will be at the office.
