(KNSI) – CentraCare teams were well represented in awards handed out recently at the Minnesota Hospital Association’s annual meeting.
The recognitions highlight excellence in innovation, leadership, and patient advocacy. CentraCare was selected in the Community Benefit category for the Central Minnesota Mental Health Summit. In the Commitment to High Reliability category, an award went to the healthcare system’s Development, Implementation, and Sustainment of Quality Management Structure.
CentraCare was honored for quality and patient safety at three central Minnesota locations: The CentraCare—St. Cloud Hospital Emergency Trauma Center Team, Monticello Emergency Department, and Rice Memorial Emergency Department. The MHA cited CentraCare’s commitment to enhancing patient experiences by being proactive in treating visitors to the ER.
