(KNSI) – St. Cloud Police Department officials say a 20-year-old man from Rochester was shot in the leg during an incident early Sunday morning.
Officers were in the area for something unrelated when they heard gunshots at about 3:30. They noticed a large group of vehicles and people fleeing from an alley on the 700 block of 6th Avenue South. A press release says those interviewed refused to cooperate, and they found no victims at the scene.
One car had some damage, determined to be a couple of bullet holes. CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital later reported that a man showed up to be treated in a private vehicle. He was interviewed by officers and said he had been shot in the alley but did not give any information about a possible suspect.
The investigation is still active, and no one has been arrested.
