(KNSI) — The crowds have subsided at the Minnesota National Guard Armory, but you will have two more chances to visit the St. Cloud Gun Show this year.

Organizer Robert Scepaniak believes this area deserves a signature firearms showcase, and he is drawing on his family’s experience of owning an area gun store to deliver it. Scepaniak tells KNSI News he’s committed to keeping it simple. “We put the gun in gun shows. We try to make sure all of our vendors are gun-oriented, have guns, gun accessories, and related items. We don’t have a house full of flea market items and knives and knick-knacks. It’s true to the gun show name.”

The show is in its second year, but Scepaniak made sure he didn’t launch until his vision was ready to be realized. He spent a lot of time touring the region, finding vendors he believed understood his goal. “We go around the state to different events and solicit vendors which fit our ideal model for our gun show. It takes a lot of work and effort, but it’s nice because all the attendees reap the benefits of having a high-quality gun show in St. Cloud.”

There are three shows each fall. If you missed this weekend, head to the Minnesota National Guard Armory on October 12th or November 23rd. Scepaniak says each event is unique with different vendors and merchandise.

He says it works nicely because attendees tend to be younger and have busy schedules. A show that is only one weekend a year would leave many potential visitors unable to make it.
