(KNSI) – Summertime by George will have a rare September performance Tuesday.

The Fabulous Armadillos and Collective Unconscious are the main act, bringing the sounds of The Doobie Brothers and The Eagles to St. Cloud’s Eastman Park. Walter’s Wheelhouse will open.

The show was originally scheduled for August 14th, but the threat of severe weather forced its postponement. Organizers say they had to work with the city to extend liquor licenses and other event permits, which pushed it back to this week.

The concert will begin at 5:00 p.m., about a half hour earlier than normal. Summertime by George traditionally gets a massive crowd for its last performance. As many as 20,000 people have attended in the past. They are expecting a large crowd this year as well.

Food and beverages will be sold as normal. Wristbands will allow for alcohol to be consumed throughout the park for those 21 and over, which is a new policy this year. The year-end raffle drawing will also take place.
