(KNSI) – The Veteran Resource & Enrichment Center is hosting a family-friendly event this weekend in St. Cloud.
The Vet Shindig is meant to honor veterans and military families who sacrificed so much for our nation. The activities include bingo, camaraderie, family fun, food, games, Rosie’s Boutique, veteran art, and prizes. All proceeds will go to support veterans programs.
The event is also a chance for former members of the armed forces to connect with community resources and help veterans in recovery.
The engagement is on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 501 17th Avenue North, in front of Sky Furniture. The celebration will temporarily close 17th Avenue North between 5th Street North and 5 1/2 Street North.
The Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans in St. Cloud sponsors the event.
