(KNSI) – Northeastern Stearns County drivers can breathe a sigh of relief.
The Highway Department says the roundabout at the intersection of Riverside Avenue and County Highway 120 near the St. Cloud/Sartell border will reopen on Friday afternoon. It’s not quite smooth sailing in the area, though. The inside lane of the roundabout will be temporarily closed on Saturday to allow for work on the median.
The nearby roundabout on 120 that acts as an entrance to Sam’s Club will be shut down next Wednesday for repaving. The project is expected to take one week. Drivers will need to use the frontage road that connects Sam’s Club with Walmart and other nearby businesses to get to the discount warehouse.
The timeframe for the work depends on the weather.
