(KNSI) — Recent severe weather wreaked havoc in several Stearns County parks.

According to an email from the parks department, Lake Sylvia is a mess, and cleanup will continue. Otherwise, it is open to the boat landing and the restroom.

Warner Lake County Park has broken branches that will need to be cut down.

The Oak Township and Spring Hill trails need to be checked, but the Dairyland Trail is open, and all trees have been removed. The trail still needs to be cleaned with a blower.

The good news is that the following parks and trails are cleaned up:

Lake Wobegon Trail
Kraemer Lake Wildwood County Park
Rockville
Mississippi
Heims
Miller Landing
St. Martin

Anyone who sees storm damage at those parks is asked to report the problem.

However, users of the Lake Wobegon Trail are being asked to exercise caution around heavy equipment as the Stearns County Parks Department begins crack filling operations.

Seal coating on the trail should be finished by the end of the week, weather permitting. Officials say parts of the trail may be closed and to not go around closed signs.
