(KNSI) — On Wednesday, those who live around Westwood Elementary may hear the outdoor storm sirens from time to time.
The siren is undergoing some testing, and Stearns County Emergency Management says there may be short bursts of sound as it is being worked on. There is no risk of severe weather today.
Another siren in town near McDonald’s and East St. Germain Street remains silent after officials recently discovered it was broken. It could be months before it is repaired.
