(KNSI) – A limited slate of events this month at the Paramount Center of the Arts is still enough to get visitors Rocky Mountain high.
A John Denver tribute concert is scheduled for Tuesday, August 13th, at 1:30 p.m. Singer Jim Curry is internationally recognized and the only act dedicated to the legendary country singer to be on the marquee in Las Vegas.
Melt from the emotion of “Annie’s Song.” Feel at peace as photos and videos of serene wildlife play on a screen behind Curry throughout “Take Me Home: The Music of John Denver.”
The Summer Movie Singalongs series ends with one of the best-known movies of all time. Toto, you’re not in Kansas anymore on Thursday, August 22nd. Join an all-star cast, including Minnesota native Judy Garland, who takes up the iconic role of Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz.” Released in 1939, the film follows Dorothy as she hikes across Oz after being blown away from home by a tornado. Dorothy teams up with the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and the Scarecrow to face a wicked witch bent on revenge.
