(KNSI) – Royce White has won the Minnesota GOP endorsement in his run for U.S. Senate. This week, he’ll try to persuade St. Cloud voters.
White will hold a town hall at Tech High School Wednesday, with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. In addition to the U.S. Senate hopeful, attendees will learn more about area-endorsed candidates for the Minnesota House of Representatives and those running for local office.
If you can’t make the town hall, White will be attending a prayer breakfast on Thursday morning from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at St. Cloud Country Club. Tickets cost $30 at the door, $25 if you buy in advance.

White was born in Minneapolis and was Mr. Basketball in 2009, winning two state championships in high school. He went on to play in college and enjoyed one season in the NBA as a member of the Sacramento Kings.
White was defeated in the Minnesota 5th District GOP primary for the U.S. House by Cicely Davis. She then lost in the general election to Democrat Ilhan Omar by nearly 50%.
