(KNSI) – An Annandale woman is dead after hitting a sign and crashing into a cornfield in Wright County.

First responders were called to the scene two miles northwest of Annandale, around 2:45 a.m. Thursday.

Investigators say 59-year-old Julie Hahn was headed east on 90th Street Northwest when she lost control. After hitting the sign, she then a road approach, and possibly rolled several times before coming to rest 60 feet into the field.

Hahn was the only person in the SUV and died at the scene. The sheriff’s office says she wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation.
