(KNSI) — The St. Cloud Area Farmers Market has some new summer programming initiatives for this year.

June 22nd is Sampling Day. From 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., marketgoers are encouraged to sample from the vendors. Naturally Homemade Creations, Triple H Acres, Backwards Bread Co., Thorson’s Farm Fresh Produce, and Sunset Orchard Farms will all be on hand.

June 29th is Rise, Stretch, and Shine at the Market. This movement class runs from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Register here.

July 6th takes a patriotic turn with Red, White and You Day from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Attendees are encouraged to vote for which vendor is the most celebratory of the red, white and blue.

There’s a Chalk Art Competition from 8:00 a.m. to noon on July 13th. Artist registration is free, and the winner will receive $25 in market bucks.

A Cooking Demonstration is coming up on July 20th.

The summer farmers market runs from May through October. It is held every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to noon in the Lady Slipper Lot in Downtown St. Cloud.
