(KNSI) – The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for central Minnesota.
Benton, Meeker, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright Counties are included in the watch wiich is predicted to end at 8:00 tonight.
Thunderstorms will return this afternoon and evening and few storms may be severe leading to the outbreak of a tornado. The weather could also bring with it large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall.
