(KNSI) – A 12-time Olympic medalist will stop in Minnesota this weekend for a swim clinic.

Ryan Lochte represented the country in four separate games: Athens, Beijing, London, and Rio de Janeiro. He was a powerhouse on the world’s biggest stage, forming a one-two punch in the pool for Team USA with Michael Phelps.

Lochte competed in several events, but he was best known for his achievements in the backstroke. As part of an exclusive partnership with LifeTime Fitness, he’ll bring that knowledge to the club’s location in Plymouth.

The events are open to all ages. They’ll run for three hours and feature in-water instruction. Drills and work on starts and turns will mesh with a question-and-answer session on how to succeed mentally and outside the water. Nutrition, post-race recovery, and injury prevention are just some of the topics covered.

The Minnesota clinics are set for August 17th and 18th. A link to register is here.
