(KNSI) – CentraCare will celebrate the grand opening of its revamped hospital in Paynesville.
The newly finished hospital facility will be front and center on Wednesday, June 12th, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Anyone who stops by can take a tour and enjoy giveaways and refreshments.
The medical campus has been under renovation for the last two years to increase space. The 16,500-foot addition includes a helipad, ambulance garage, trauma and procedure rooms, two secure holding rooms, seven universal rooms, a decontamination area, nursing stations, a grief/consult room, a new patient waiting area, café bistro, conference rooms, and a grand entrance with a patient drop-off area.
“The accomplishment of this exciting project allows us to further enhance our mission to serve our communities by providing expert health care that is close to home,” said Ken Holmen, MD, CentraCare president and CEO.
The new wing opens to patients on Wednesday, June 19th, at 9:00 a.m.
