UPDATE: 4:30 PM—The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the victim as 82-year-old Marilyn Joan Hagen
(KNSI) – A Belgrade woman was killed after crashing head-on into a semi in Kandiyohi County.
The 82-year-old was heading south on Highway 71 when her SUV crossed the center line and hit the semi. Her name wasn’t immediately released.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the accident happened around 10:15 on Friday morning.
The semi driver, 54-year-old Bruce Frederick Bruns from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was taken to the Wilmar Hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
The state patrol says road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.
