(KNSI) – The Initiative Foundation is celebrating dishing up more than $633,000 in 97 grants during the first quarter of 2024.
The funds support scholarships for graduating seniors, weekend programming for food-insecure families, and promote diversity, equity and inclusion.
Some recipients around Central Minnesota include $5,000 for 180 Degrees in St. Cloud. The money will pilot a parent liaison program to help families of youth experiencing homelessness. Someplace Safe in St. Cloud got $5,000 for its women’s shelter. The Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation received $25,000 to help bring more businesses to the city.
