(KNSI) — Several people have been arrested after police executed search warrants at two homes Tuesday morning allegedly connected to an ongoing investigation into drug sales and weapons violations. 

According to a press release, between roughly 6:00 and 7:00, officers from the St. Cloud Police Community Response Team, Violent Offender Task Force, and St. Cloud SWAT carried out the warrants in the 700 block of 6th Avenue South in St. Cloud and the 500 block of 3rd Street South in Waite Park. 

Evidence seized includes 345 suspected fentanyl pills, two long guns, four handguns, one of which was stolen, body armor, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition and magazines.

The investigation continues, with charges expected for first degree drug sales, possession of ammunition or firearms by a convicted felon, possession of weapons by a minor, possession of stolen property, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and negligent storage of firearms.

No one was hurt.
