(KNSI) – Double the pleasure, double the fun Thursday during St. Cloud Area Restaurant Week with Wings and Wontons.
Visit St. Cloud Executive Director Rachel Thompson says this is the only theme that allows for mixing and matching among the entries. “Typically, we only allow for one menu item but this one allows for two. So, they could choose a wings and a wonton combination, or they could choose one or the other.”
There is plenty of variety among the wontons being served. Flavors range from cream cheese to duck bacon, fried avocado, and even wonton potato chips. Throw in the range of sauces for the wings, and you can mix and match until you find perfection.
Participants include Legends Bar and B. Social, which have been reimagined within the last year. Live music and retro arcades both provide a unique experience. Thompson says giving new or renovated locations a chance to introduce themselves is one of her favorite parts of Restaurant Week.
“It’s been really fun to see people reaching to us and saying, ‘How can we get involved? We want to be a part of this.’ It really is not only representing St. Cloud restaurants but the area restaurants.”
