St. Joseph Man Hurt in ATV Crash

(KNSI) — A 45-year-old St. Joseph man was injured Saturday night in an ATV crash near Eden Valley Township.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says about 7:45, they got a 911 call about the crash near the crossroads of 188th Street & 223rd Avenue. According to a press release, it says when first responders arrived, they found Jon Sanborn unconscious near an ATV. Investigators say they believe Sandborn was driving north on 223rd and came to a curve in the road, but took it too quickly and lost control, tossing him off. He was rushed to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

He was not wearing a helmet at the time. The investigation into the exact cause of the crash is ongoing.
