(KNSI) — A Royalton man was injured in a boating accident on the Platte River north of Royalton Monday evening.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says they received a call about the accident at about 6:45. Authorities said in a press release that 43-year-old Craig Maslonkowski was driving his boat when he attempted to make a quick turn, lost control, and hit a tree on the shore.
He suffered a leg injury and was rushed to St. Gabriel’s Hospital. His condition has not been released.
