(KNSI) – One person was arrested after a domestic dispute led to a suspect barricading himself inside his St. Cloud apartment Saturday morning.
Around 5:10, police said they responded to a domestic in progress, which also involved firearms inside a unit at the building on the 500 block of 12th Street South. A man was found inside alone and armed, according to the St. Cloud Police Department’s X account. Roughly an hour later, the man was taken into custody.
He is facing charges related to felony assault, domestic assault and threats of violence. Police remained on scene for several hours afterward collecting evidence in the case.
A woman was taken to CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
