(KNSI) – The Cathedral High School National Honor Society chapter exceling inside the classroom and out.
They are asking for the community’s help for their latest initiative. The group will soon be making tie blankets, and they need donations to buy materials. Contributions are being collected online until Tuesday, April 16th. A link to give is here.
The National Honor Society is open to sophomores and juniors with at least a 3.5 GPA. It is a service-oriented group meant to build leadership and character through volunteering while also stressing academics. They organize blood drives and homecoming activities and collect presents for Operation Christmas Child.
When finished, NHS will give the blankets to patients at the Coborn’s Cancer Center.
